My Heart My Life

Proverbs 4:23

Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life. (AMP)

Watch over your heart with all diligence for out of it are the sources of life. (TS2009)

Guard your heart above all else for it determines the course of your life. (NLT)

Proverbs 23:7

For as he thinks in his hearts so is he … (AMP)

For as he reckons in his life so is he… (TS2009)

Proverbs 27:19

As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects man. (AMP)

As a face is reflected in water, so the heart reflects the real person. (NLT)

The real you is who you are deep down, not what you try to portray or what people expect of you. Your heart is the real you.

  1. Who are you deep down?
  2. What do you love about life?
  3. What is your ideal place of rest?
  4. What is makes you happy and excited?
  5. If you sit down quietly long enough you will know.

Rid yourself of fear and expectations and just be.

There is a hunger deep within and it’s the cry of your heart for expression, for release and as long as you don’t release or let it out you will keep filling yourself with the wrong things.

There is a rearrangement that needs to happen on the inside to make your outside work and as long as that doesn’t happen, there will always be a struggle and a distortion which will never be fixed.

The answers to my life are in the treasury of my heart.

You have stored the true me in my heart.

If my heart is my source and the well spring of my life, where then should it be focused?

Who or what should be the focus of my life?
